Built in Cameroon, building for the world
Since then we've grown into a full-service software company, designing, building and operating AI, backend, web and mobile products for clients across Africa and Europe. We're young and ambitious, but we work with the rigor of teams many times our age.
We're not a body shop or a one-off agency. We partner with founders and teams for the long term, take ownership of outcomes, and stand behind what we ship long after launch.

Founded in Douala
HIIS is founded with a simple conviction: world-class software can be built from Cameroon.
First European clients
We expand to Europe, partnering with French and Belgian companies to deliver backend and mobile products.
AI practice launched
We build our first RAG and ML systems, shipping production AI for banking and document intelligence clients.
30+ projects shipped
Across 4 continents, 14+ countries and still growing. We formalise our remote-first engineering culture.
Building our own product suite
HIIS shifts from client-only delivery to building its own product suite. Four proprietary applications are now in active development, extending the team's engineering capabilities into new markets.
